Creating my own news story to be aired on prime time tv

I found, wrote, interviewed, edited, and produced an entire news story by myself at the age of 18! I was working for a news station over the summer, learning the ins and outs of producing news coverage and everything that went into doing it proficiently and correctly. I found a local story about 'Nosh of the Month,' and ran with it. After a swift phone call and a little bit of planning, I, along with a camera man were on the way to find out what the Nosh was this month. At the end of the interview, my interviewee handed me a savory pastry. I left with two things that day. A tasty dish and an experience is one I will never forget.
